Fondaparinux Sodium Injection

Product Description

Fondaparinux Sodium Injection is an anticoagulant (blood thinner) used to prevent and treat serious blood clots. It is used after orthopedic or abdominal surgeries (e.g. hip, knee replacement, abdominal surgery). This is a synthetic selective Factor Xa inhibitor, meaning it works by blocking a key step in the blood clotting process without affecting platelet function. The injection prevents blood clots from forming in deep veins of the legs, which can be life-threatening if they travel to the lungs. Fondaparinux Sodium Injection controls progression of existing clots, reduces risk of serious complications, doesn’t trigger immune-mediated clotting and easier for long-term management
